Boarding Crew Member Code of Conduct

Your membership of the Boarding Crew club is contingent on abiding by these terms and conditions. Failure to do so will lead to action by the club committee with the possibility of expulsion.

In the event of an expulsion, you will be refunded the value of your membership fee for the club’s financial year in proportion to the duration of your valid membership up until that point. If the wording of a rule is unclear in regards to any specific behaviour and you wish to know whether something would be acceptable under the Code of Conduct, please email and we will endeavour to clarify as quickly as possible. Any issues clarified via email will be reproduced below for the future reference of members as and when this is possible.

Rule 1:

Members agree to not do anything which is likely to intimidate, offend, insult, humiliate or discriminate against any other person or group on the basis of gender, race, disability, age, religious or political belief, sexual orientation, social background, ethnic origin, language, marital or civil partnership status, or pregnancy.

Rule 2:

Members commit to being upstanding representatives of the communities they are part of. They should be courteous, fair, and kind in their interactions with community members and outside elements, displaying consistently high standards in behaviour and both moral and ethical conduct.

Rule 3:

Members commit to providing a safe and welcoming environment for any who wish to be a part of the community, and making reasonable adjustments wherever possible in order to do so. Members agree never to condone or encourage any behaviour in the community that works against this commitment. Members agree to hold the wellbeing of their community and anyone they interact with as a member of The Boarding Crew club as their responsibility.
